Do you accept insurance?
I am an in-network with Aetna, Highmark Blue Shield.
I am in the process of credentialing with Independence Blue Cross, and Cigna, please check back!
Do you offer sliding scale or package rates?
Yes. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients with financial need, as availability allows. I also offer session packages at discounted rates for clients who plan to engage in ongoing care. Packages are designed to support consistency while reducing overall cost. Sliding scale and package options can be discussed during a consultation to determine what feels supportive and sustainable.
Is nutrition therapy virtual or in person?
Sessions are offered virtually, allowing flexibility and access from home. I currently serve clients located in PA, NJ, VT, VA, CA, & FL
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 24 hours notice for cancellations of sessions. If the session is not canceled in the allotted time, you will be charged the session fee.
What is your availability?
I offer appointment availability across morning, afternoon, and evening hours to help accommodate school, work, training, and family schedules. Availability varies and may change, so reaching out early is encouraged.
How often will we meet?
Session frequency varies based on your needs and goals. Some clients meet weekly at the start of care, while others meet biweekly or monthly. This is something we’ll decide together.
Do you work with teens?
Yes. I work with adolescents (14+) and adults, and family or caregiver involvement can be included when appropriate. Support is always tailored to developmental needs and family dynamics.
Do I need a diagnosis to work with you?
No. You don’t need a formal eating disorder diagnosis to benefit from nutrition therapy. I work with people experiencing a wide range of concerns, including disordered eating, body image distress, chronic dieting, and food anxiety.
Do you provide meal plans?
I don’t use rigid or prescriptive meal plans. Instead, we work collaboratively to support nourishment in ways that feel realistic, flexible, and supportive of your recovery and daily life.
Do you weigh clients?
I use blind weight scales to reduce distress and avoid reinforcing eating disorder thoughts. Weight is discussed only when relevant to medical care and is never used as a measure of success.
What does body image work look like?
Body image work is woven throughout nutrition care and may include reducing body checking and comparison, navigating clothing and mirrors, addressing fear around weight changes, and building a more respectful relationship with your body. This work is not about forcing body positivity—it’s about increasing safety and ease in your body.
Do you work with athletes?
Yes. I work with athletes navigating eating disorder recovery, disordered eating, body image concerns, and performance pressures. Athlete care is always recovery-oriented and weight-inclusive, with health and safety prioritized over performance outcomes.
Do you collaborate with therapists or treatment teams?
Yes. With client consent, I collaborate with therapists, physicians, athletic trainers, and other providers to support coordinated, comprehensive care.
What if I’m not sure I’m “ready”?
You don’t need to feel fully ready or confident to begin. Many people start nutrition therapy feeling unsure, ambivalent, or overwhelmed. We can move at a pace that feels manageable.
How do I get started?
You can reach out through the contact form or schedule a consultation to talk through your needs and see if working together feels like a good fit.
