About Me

I’m Christine.

I’m a registered dietitian who believes that healing with food is not about willpower or control—it’s about safety, support, and rebuilding trust with your body.

I work with teens (14+) and adults navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, and body image distress, including athletes who are balancing recovery alongside training or performance expectations. My approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based care, and respect for each person’s lived experience.

My Approach

Struggles with food and body image rarely exist in isolation. They are shaped by culture, stress, identity, trauma, and the messages we’ve absorbed about health and worth. I approach nutrition care with the understanding that your relationship with food makes sense, and that healing happens best when we move at a pace that feels safe and collaborative.

My work is:

  • Eating disorder–informed

  • Weight-inclusive and non-diet

  • Body-image centered

  • Trauma-sensitive

  • Collaborative with therapists and medical providers

I support clients in reconnecting with hunger, fullness, and satisfaction; reducing food anxiety and body checking; and building meals that fit real life—not an idealized version of it.

Body Image Work

Body image concerns often persist even as eating behaviors improve. I integrate body image support throughout nutrition care to help clients move away from control and avoidance and toward greater ease living in their bodies.

This work is not about loving how you look. It’s about developing respect, neutrality, and the ability to participate more fully in your life—regardless of body size or shape.

Working With Athletes

I also support athletes navigating eating disorder recovery, disordered eating, and body image challenges within performance-driven environments. Athletic culture can intensify food rules, comparison, and body control, and I work with athletes to support fueling, recovery, and long-term health without sacrificing safety.

Care is always recovery-oriented and weight-inclusive, and performance goals are never prioritized over physical or emotional well-being.

What It’s Like to Work Together

Sessions are conversational, practical, and supportive. You won’t be handed rigid meal plans or asked to “try harder.” Instead, we’ll focus on understanding what your body needs, addressing fears and barriers, and building skills that support sustainable healing.

There is no one “right” way to recover, and your care will always be individualized.
